Sarah Spearman, MS, L.Ac, Dipl of OM
I received my Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The program consisted of 2,850 hours of educational training in Chinese Medicine and over 1,000 hours of clinical experience with patients. I am a Colorado and New Mexico licensed acupuncturist and a nationally certified Chinese herbalist. Through my extensive training in Chinese medicine, I am able to treat a myriad of conditions. I specialize in treating stress, fatigue, autoimmune disorders, body pain, cosmetic rejuvenation and midlife transitioning
During the last year of graduate school, I was fortunate to be chosen for a coveted one year internship with renown acupuncturist, Dr. Daisy Dong. Dr. Dong is the Chief Acupuncturist for the University of Colorado Hospitals and is a national specialist in the field of cancer treatment and post-trauma care.
Certified in Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture, I received extensive training in this natural facial and body rejuvenation system which holistically provides a more youthful appearance without surgery or potentially toxic "non-surgical" facelift procedures.
Prior to becoming a Chinese Medicine practitioner, I spent over 20 years in nonprofit management. After devoting my professional career to helping others through effective management of worthy nonprofits, I decided to continue helping others but through a different and more direct means - Chinese Medicine.
My own personal journey through the health care system after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder spurred me to learn more about the human body and how to effectively, efficiently and holistically work to bring about maximum health and well being. I look forward to working with each patient and coming up with a comprehensive & holistic treatment plan so that they, too, may thrive with their own health and sense of well being.
